TRIALS PREPARE YOU TO HELP SOMEONE

It's been a wonderful trip so far.

🏝Lots of family fun.

⏳Memories made.

📲Work completed in the pockets of each day.

Just wrapping up one of those "work pockets".

I just got off a call with a coach and bare with me, I'm in a contemplative mood. 🙈

Ya know, sometimes I feel like I've lived a lifetime of hard experiences.

ALL THESE THINGS SHALL GIVE THEE EXPERIENCE

Many of the hard experiences I didn't quite understand at the time.

❓Why do I have to go through this?

❓What was the lesson here?

❓Why me?

One of the hard experiences I've had was being in an abusive relationship in college for far far too long. I really want to believe this guy has changed. And yet, if I heard this guy murdered his wife and kids one day in a fit of anger, I don't think I'd be surprised. And please know- I really don't like thinking that way, about anyone.

I've often wondered, why did I have that experience? Was it really necessary, God?

And then there are conversations like the one I just had.

I'm listening to this girl share her heart as we brainstorm on what's holding her back in her Beachbody business.

She's talking, and I'm silently praying with ALL MY MIGHT that I can be inspired on what to say & how to guide this girl that I KNOW God loves SO much and is so aware of.

As I'm praying, as often happens one of my hard experiences comes to mind, along with the lessons learned.

DON'T BE ASHAMED OF YOUR STORY, IT WILL INSPIRE OTHERS.

Today, I felt inspired to share some of the lessons I learned about myself in that abusive relationship.

While different from the trials she is facing, the lessons learned applied very much.

& I find that interesting.

Trials really do prepare us to help others, don't they?

Who would have thought an abusive college relationship could prepare me as a business mentor?

God sure works in funny ways.

We get to learn and grow, & the more we are WILLING to learn and grow from our experiences, the more we are in a position to add value to others.

THE BLESSINGS BEHIND TRIALS

So I'm grateful. 🙏🏼

I'm grateful for the hard times. Yes, even abusive relationship hard times.

It's allllll worth it to help someone else.

You?, you're being prepared too. So be excited! That trial you're working thru right now is preparing you to help someone else.
