First feeling of the day?
I won’t lie.... the very first feeling I had this morning was anxiety. “I have so much that needs to get done, I’m so behind”
Second thought that entered my mind?
“Gratitude is a magnet for miracles. So what can I be grateful for?”
This month I have traveled a lot. In fact, I’ve only been home a grand total of nine days this month. Crazy huh?! And four of those days I was super sick.
What that means for me is - on paper I’m not where I want to be with the goals I have for myself.
I have a history of self criticism, self beat up, and an all-or-nothing mentality.
Luckily, I’ve been able to see those tendencies aren’t the healthiest of mindsets.
SOOOOO....... instead, I choose gratitude.
At the top of my list this morning??
•• I am grateful for this AMAZING weather we are having. This morning was a cool 60 degrees and it felt so good. A/C is off, all my windows and doors are open, and the fresh air makes me happy. 🌤🍃🌷
•• I am grateful to feel good enough to do a hard workout this AM. I love yoga. But after a week of being sick and ONLY doing yoga it felt so good to lift some weights and break a sweat. So grateful for home workouts! 💪🏼🏋🏼♀️🤸🏼♀️
•• & I am grateful for 3 healthy happy little kids. We got to spend lots of family time together this past weekend and it did my heart good! We worked together doing some deep cleaning around the house, we watched a movie outside and went out to dinner, rooted for one another in soccer games, and put together a puzzle and baked cookies together. Nothing glamorous, just little family moments together that filled my joy bucket. 🏡💑🦋

I know there’s so much to stress about. No matter who you are.
But there’s ALSO so much to be grateful for. No matter who you are.
