Last week I was able to attend a Brendon Burchard seminar in California! Five days with a couple good friends focused on learning and growing, and having a little fun.
It was also the first time meeting my coach Tracey Ferrin! Love that I can connect with new people thru social media who share my beliefs and values. Meeting Tracey in person feels like I've known her for a long time.
There is a lot I want to share about what I learned over the 5 days, but for now I just want to highlight a few posts I shared on Facebook during the seminar.
The first morning brought a great confirmation that I was in the right place!
"The journey to greatness begins the moment our preferences for comfort and certainty are overruled by a purpose that requires challenge and contribution." ~ Brendon Burchard.
The habits and knowledge I currently have have brought the experience I'm having NOW.
To continue growing, I get to learn. I get to create better habits.
Another big takeaway from listening to guest speaker, Robin Scharma...
"FEAR IS A PORTAL TO TRANSFORMATION. So RUN to the places that terrify you, because there your greatness lies." -Robin Scharma
I had never heard of him before, but I wrote down two of his books "The monk who sold his Ferrari" and "The leader who has no title" as ones to read. He gave one of the most POWERFUL speeches I have EVER witnessed that left me so uplifted, so inspired and so empowered.
WHAT A POWERFUL WEEK! I will definitely share more soon but first I just want to say I felt an overwhelming amount of gratitude that I was able to be there with amazing people that I love so much!
I remember starting my coaching journey and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that I'm suppose to do this, but I was so unsure of a few things. Like..... "How am I going to find people who want to join my team?" It's something I have prayed a lot about. I'm constantly praying I will be guided to people who want this and are ready for it, and I pray others will be guided to ME as well. Because it's such a strong matter of prayer for me, when someone joins one of my groups or joins my team as a coach I KNOW, I strongly KNOW, that person is suppose to be in my life.
I'm so so grateful for these two members of my team. And spending the weekend with them at this conference has only made me love them more.
