I stayed up the other night to catch a webinar hosted thru Success magazine celebrating Jim Rohn's 85th birthday.
Maybe it's just the plethora of Jim Rohn wisdom flooding my mind since then, but this quote has been on my mind all day.
"Don't wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don't wish for less challenges, wish for more wisdom."
Perfect case in point- this journey of learning how to fly.
Flying this afternoon was all around FUN. Calculating and putting together my flight plan was EASY. Navigating in the skies to know where I was while thousands of feet in the air was NOT a challenge. Landing and taking off in Coolidge was a breeze.
And yet, it use to be a challenge. It use to be HARD. Sooooo....... did the aspects of flying change? No. Nothing about the art of flying has changed.
I've just gained more wisdom. 😉 What do ya know---- I've gotten better. 🏋🏼
Boy am I glad I didn't give up when it was hard!
With this in mind, can I offer some unsolicited advice? 😉
>>>>> Stay the course friends. 🎯 Don't give up when things are hard! Focus on how YOU can get better & better and gain more wisdom.
THEN it will get easier and easier. 💃🏻
