Can you believe Christmas is almost here? This whole year has flown by! Anyone else feel that way?
Personally, I LOVE this time of year. I love everything about Christmas!
And this time of year holds a special place in my fitness loving heart. <3Because THIS is the month I started MY OWN fitness journey five years ago.
That’s right, I didn’t wait for January. ;) I started right after Thanksgiving!
I remember seeing a post from my cousin on Facebook sharing that she was doing a half marathon in January. I had seen her run several races and it always looked so fun. So I decided - WHY NOT TRY?!
So I was the girl who signed up for a half marathon that was ten weeks away when I had NEVER IN MY LIFE ran more than 3 miles. lol. It was an interesting experience for sure!
But I did it! I STARTED my journey to better health during the holiday season.
And you know what? It seems THIS TIME OF YEAR is when MANY of my top coaches started THEIR health and fitness journey as well.
